A visit to Franz Kafka's restaurant is a real gourmet experience. It will offer hotel guests and visitors to the Třešť Chateau Czech cuisine from the early 20th century, but in a modern and non-traditional way. The restaurant also includes Franz Kafka's private lounge and a summer terrace in the castle courtyard.

My name is Nikola Kittler. Vysočina has been my home all my life. It is a place where I like to live and where I like to return. I enjoy connecting the tastes of Czech and international cuisine. I extract these tastes in a unique way and place them in modern times. I pay attention to their harmony and their variations. I try to give my dishes meaning, originality and especially origin. My vision is to combine the flavors of the forest and the river, potatoes, apples and honey. They take me back to Vysočina and also to the people who inhabit it. There is no more beautiful environment than where your team is for you as a family, when you go to work as to your home - in the Vysočina region.

Gastronomy is for me a variety and people. With each open bottle of wine, cup of tea or glass of gin, I travel and meet new places and people. Join me on this journey and let's discover new scents, tastes and stories together.
My biggest passion are classic old world wines. Since childhood, thanks to comedies with Louis de Funès, a team of Pheasants or the Seventh Company, it drew me the most to France. And it will probably stay with me forever. Although German Riesling is also very nice! ;).Chateau sommelier Pavel Nikl
